SEEMORE: The Haptic Cane This is an ultrasonic system that can be easily attach to existing canes for the blind. A haptic signal would be transmitted to the user by vibrating motors. Traditional blind canes help visually impaired people to travel and interact with their surroundings. With the SEEMORE device, we are aiming to use ultrasonic sensors to transmit a more accurate representation of the environment. More information can be seen here.
