Adila Hoque received her BSc. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of South Florida in August 2019 and is continuing her education with her M.S. at USF from Fall 2020.
Research: Adila is pursuing a thesis based Masters in Rehabilitative Technology, and plans on joining the Reed Lab starting this fall. |

Scott Bartlett received his BSc. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of South Florida in May 2019 and formerly worked as a Manufacturing Engineer for Volvo Group Trucks.
Research: Since joining REED lab in 2021, he received his M.S.M.E. after successfully defending his thesis on harnessing multimodal sensory stimuli in Fall 2023 and is currently working on his Ph.D. |

Angelica Solano-Salgado is an International Student from Colombia who has received her BSc. In Mechanical Engineering from the University of South Florida in December 2023. Since Spring 2024 she has continued her education at the University of South Florida by pursuing a M.S.M.E.
Research: Angelica is pursuing a thesis-based M.S.M.E. in overground gait rehabilitation and wearable technology. |

Mitchell Lisman is a Mechanical Engineering major at the University of South Florida, set to graduate in May 2026. A Florida native, he started working as a Research Assistant at Reed’s Laboratory in Fall 2024.
Research: Mitchell is involved in developing diagnostic devices. His primary focus is on devices that assists in diagnosing Parkinson’s disease. His work mainly revolves around programming, designing, and assembling Arduino-based devices to improve clinical accuracy and reliability. |

Ethan Bender is a Mechanical Engineering major at the University of South Florida on track to graduate in Fall 2026.
Research: Ethan contributes as a software developer on the Choose Your Own Lecture (CYOL) project, helping to develop additional features for the online software that help professors make interactive video learning experiences that replicate live classroom interaction. |

Ana Farias is a Venezuelan-born and raised student pursuing a Mechanical Engineering major at the University of South Florida, set to graduate in May 2027. She joined as a Research Assistant in January 2026.
Research: Ana leads a research project focused on redesigning a specialized prototype designed to assist stroke survivors in regaining their mobility. Her work involves iterative 3D printing and rigorous testing to ensure the device meets the structural parameters required for industrial manufacturing and commercialization. |
